Simple Pleasures is a family and veteran-owned artisan ice cream manufacturing business. Simple Pleasures has been serving delicious, handcrafted ice cream and other frozen confections in the Maryland, Virginia, and District Columbia areas for over 22 years.
Simple Pleasures business conceptualized after operating mobile ice cream cart units in Florida and living in Europe for a decade. Embracing the European confectionary culture, our family decided to bring these sweet delights to the Washington, DC metropolitan area. Since Simple Pleasures has been in business, we have received enthusiastic reviews from the Washington Post, Baltimore Sun, Prince Georges Suite, Gazette-Star, Bowie Blade News, as well as 2014 Small Business of the Year for Bowie, MD.
